Veronique de Miomandre is a storyteller, born from a blend of stories. Dreams are her path and they take her from place to place, to tell what her eyes have seen and her ears have drunk. It’s all true, because she dreamt it. Her tales are often marvellous, sometimes absurd and realistic, but always humorous. She says she builds stories out of sandcastles, or squeezing them into a spaghetti strainer. Among her favourite venues are chatty dinner parties, the cosy world of libraries, classrooms cluttered with school bags, and all those wooden boards.  And the earth, of course, all naked with the air around it. Stories walk in nature, in parks, on cobblestones, and in cemeteries where life speaks to us in a low voice under the falling stars.
